🍎 → MPES ART

• Utah’s legislature removed it from the curriculum in the 80s.
• PCEF worked with Kimball Art Center to bring it back in 2012.
• 1500 students learn art each year - thanks to PCEF.
  
  

🍎 → MPES PRESCHOOL

• PCEF provided seed funding to start the program in 2010.
• It provides more than $100,000 in Pre-K funding each year.
  
  

🍎 → MPES AFTERSCHOOL

• PCEF worked with PCSD to launch in 2008.
• Funds more than $250,000 each year.
  
  

🍎 → BRIGHT FUTURES FOR MPES STUDENTS:

• BF supports Park City's first-generation students in their work to get to and through college!
• 160 Current BF Students 
• 10 college graduates in 2 cohorts! 

🍎 How to Donate & Build the Foundation 🔨 

1. Add a donation to the PCEF envelope in your child's backpack, seal it, and send it back to school ASAP. (MPES has extra envelopes in the front office.)

2. OR -- donate online HERE. 

3. Just be sure to contribute BEFORE 10/4 - the contest ends October 4, 2024!

Remember:  

• A donation of just $1 counts!

• PCEF invites parents to give $360 per child → that’s $2 per school day ($30/month).
  (Each McPolin student benefits from $500+ in PCEF funding - every single year.)

• You can also join Scholar Circle with a $1000 donation or more!

School Resource Officer Art Boxall coordinated an event for MPES students that will not soon be forgotten! Kids saw: 

🚁 → Helicopter landing/tours 
🐎 → Horses from Mounted Patrol 
🦮 → Very high-energy pups from the K-9 Unit 
🏍️ → Motor Team demonstrations 
⚠️ → Drug Enforcement Administration SWAT teams  
 

🚓  A HUGE thank you to Officer Boxall, who helps keep MPES safe each day, and to all the law enforcement officers who educated MPES students ahead of ahead of Red Ribbon Week: Park City Police Department, the DEA, and Summit County Sheriff's Office!
