Question: DO I NEED TO GET FINGERPRINTED TO VOLUNTEER? 

Answer: Yes - and - no! 

• YES  →  To keep all of our children safe, volunteers who work one-on-one with students will need to work through the district office to get fingerprinted. Consider it your MPES Pre-Check! 
  
  

• NO → Most of our volunteer opportunities are group activities!
  This includes things like lending an hour or two to help with Fall Festival, Book Fair, or Science & Art Night.
   

• PLUS! → A lunch order pick-up for teachers during P/T Conferences, or a quick ask for your company to sponsor an MPES event (or to donate!) count as volunteering - and do not require the time needed to get fingerprints done!
  
  

• We know it can be a time-consuming process, and we want ALL parents to have the chance to be involved, so we will always work within your constraints to make it happen.
